I'll start with the only possible negative up front: I cannot vouch for the long term durability of this product. I've had it a few weeks though and I've used it pretty extensively, and so far it's holding up great.
It looks amazing, travels well, and holds your favorite writing tool (a not insignificant investment) safe and secure in the lap of luxury. It took me a minute to realize that there is an easy way and a hard way to open the clasps, but once you learn the trick, it's not bad at all.
My only gripe (not worth losing stars over this) is that it is a pain to get my reMarkable into the document pocket in the lid. It fits, but the clearance is tight and I might be bending the device or stretching the case when I do it. If you have a reMarkable you plan on bringing with you in this case, you may want to keep that in mind: it can be done, but it's not at all convenient. If they had just made the document pocket half an inch shorter it would be a much easier thing to insert/remove the reMarkable tablet.

The latches are not quality & My 1st case snaps failed
I invested in 2 cases: one for the Hemmingway, which lasted less than a year. The intrior snap which affixes the freewrite to the case broke, and Freewrte told me it wasn't covered by warranty. I have a second freewrite, the Lemon, and I purchased a case for it, as I travel. We will see how long this one lasts, but a lack of trust all around, due to quality, has me securing the latches with tape when I do use it to travel here and there.

Like McDonald’s -Just like a Big Mac!
I hope you jokers know I expect free MickeyD’s! I’m lovin’ it! It is responsive at the hilt, and has a most agreeable carriage, most lovely for poking baristas in the eyes with poezia and prose forms of varying degrees.

Overpriced, questionable quality
The latches don't feel very secure when fastened and the stitching is not as robust as I would like. Honestly a bit concerened that it's going to fall apart after a year or so. Disappointed.

The case is fantastic!
Craftsmanship, utility, and all the looks to boot!
