Distractionfree of longhand, speed of computer
The smart typewriter gives me the distraction free I have when writing longhand, but the speed of typing on a computer which is exactly what I wanted.
I love that it is also fairly portable, though I mostly leave it on my writing desk. But sometimes you just gotta write in bed.
That said I may get a traveller eventually for truly on the go. The clickity clack makes me selfconscious on the bus and I believe the traveller is quieter. The clickity clack is very nice at home though.
The all black of the ink edition is beautiful, although I am glad I can blind type. I may even go faster as I am not lookjng for the letter, but trusting my fingers to find the key.
I do wish the hokudai screensaver you see on all the pictures would cycle through though. I like the others to varying degrees but after staring at the store for so long I came to expect the hokudai wave.

I love this! It’s the best thing I have ever gotten for writing (: The only one small thing is the dark letters is a little hard to read without enough light but that’s ok! I plan on getting the black key caps with the white letters to replace these later with. Other than that, this is a perfect distraction free typewriter!! Can’t wait to finish my novels on it!! Thank you!!

I need to clear my head and get my thoughts out there. The simplicity of the Freewrite is perfect for me. Also, I love the way it looks. The Ink Typewriter is a beautiful thing. It looks perfect on my desk and fits comfortably in my leather satchel when I need to get out and write somewhere. It’s the writer’s tool I have been looking for.
