It covers it, but for something made by the company, you'd think that the buckles on the outside of the case could've been more solid or spring loaded. They just sort of flop everywhere and they feel flimsy and cheap. I'm current debating between returning it and trying to replace the catches because I would not trust this to stay closed if I'm transporting it somewhere.

Awesome gift!!
My son-in-law gave my daughter a Freewrite smart typewriter and sleeve for her birthday and I gave her the attaché case. She was ecstatic receiving these gifts! I was very impressed with the appearance and features of the attaché case, and the quality is outstanding!! Couldn’t have been happier with this purchase!!

The buckle busted
I tried to snap the button together and it not only had trouble reaching each other over the Freewrite, but one side ripped entirely off the fabric once I managed to engage the button. A metal piece flung away and lodged under the keys of my Freewrite and I can’t get it out without taking the keys apart. Needless to say, I am not impressed with this thing.

Great quality but fuzz seems to come off, I recommend vacuuming it
