So join us in May to write 1,613 words every day. At the end of the month, you'll have 50,000 words ready to edit.

This is a FREE challenge for Freewriters and non-Freewriters alike.

FAQ

What does it cost to participate?

Absolutely nothing!

Do I have to own a Freewrite to participate?

Nope! Everyone is welcome.

If you're drafting on a Freewrite device, visit postbox.getfreewrite.com/50kmay to join the leaderboard and have your word count update automatically.

If you don't own a Freewrite, use our free app, Sprinter, to draft and create a Postbox account. Everything drafted in Sprinter and synced to Postbox will count toward your word count goal. (Everything synced to Postbox can be synced to Google Docs or another platform, or downloaded for editing in your software of choice.)

What's in it for me?

Aside from a completed manuscript? And community events throughout the month to keep up momentum? And the joy of writing? Well, there may also be prizes at the end. Our lips are sealed until May 31.

What happens if I don't hit 50k?

Nothing. The beauty of writing is that any progress is progress, no matter how small.
